Information Nails Vision handles
Content you choose to provide
After you approve the in-app disclosure, the inspiration image you selected is sent through our Cloudflare service to OpenAI to identify nail-specific details and generate a reusable visual texture. An image may incidentally include a hand or background details. Please use images you have the right to use and avoid submitting sensitive personal information.
Camera data
The live try-on uses your device camera and on-device hand-pose processing to place nail previews. Camera frames are not sent to our servers, stored by us, or used to identify you.
Designs and settings
Custom nail designs you save and app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. They are not uploaded by Nails Vision.
Installation and purchases
Nails Vision creates a random installation identifier and stores it securely in your Apple Keychain. Our service stores a protected version of that identifier, your remaining recreation balance, and App Store transaction identifiers so purchases are credited once, balances can be recovered, and abuse can be prevented. We do not receive your payment-card details.
Technical information
Our infrastructure providers may process standard request information such as IP address, device or browser characteristics, timestamps, and diagnostic data to deliver, secure, rate-limit, and maintain the service.
How we use information
- Analyze the nail shape, color, finish, and art in an image you select.
- Generate visual nail textures for your preview.
- Provide, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the service.
- Respond when you contact support.
We do not use your content for advertising, sell your personal information, or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Service providers
Nails Vision uses service providers only where needed to operate the app:
- Cloudflare provides network, security, and serverless infrastructure.
- OpenAI processes selected inspiration images and instructions to return nail analysis and generated visual content.
- Apple provides the App Store, iOS permissions, and on-device frameworks.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not permit them to use your information for our advertising.
Retention
Nails Vision does not maintain named user accounts or a database of inspiration images. Our Worker forwards a selected image for processing and does not persist the image or generated result after returning the response. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its standard API data controls, subject to limited safety and legal exceptions.
The anonymous installation record, transaction identifiers, and recreation balance are retained while needed to provide purchased credits and prevent duplicate delivery. Saved designs remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its local data. You may contact us to request deletion of the server-side installation record.
Your choices and rights
- You can deny or revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.
- You decide which inspiration images to select. Nails Vision cannot browse your photo library.
- You can delete saved designs inside the app.
- You may contact us to ask a privacy question or exercise rights available in your region.
Because Nails Vision does not require an account, we may not be able to identify data associated with you unless you provide enough information about a support interaction.
Children
Nails Vision is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Nails Vision evolves. We will post the new date at the top of this page and provide additional notice when required.
